Romans 10:11-13

"Anyone who trusts in Him will never be put to shame, for there is no difference between Jew or Gentile, the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for everyone who believes on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? An how can they preach unless they are sent?" Romans 10:11-14

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!!! It has been a while since the last update but here goes. We got through Amber's big wedding and the next thing you knew it was Christmas day!! Where has this year gone?? I'm sure you all are asking that questions as well. We had a very blessed Christmas. Sam loved every minute of it, such a little ham! Max got a Nintendo DS and that is all he has done since!! He loved spending time with his cousins and is now enjoying some time with Grandi and Papa. I am posting these pics although I took none of them. Thanks to my sister-in-law, Mary, I have some photos of our Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am the worst when it comes to picture taking!! Happy New Year to everyone and may God truly bless you in 2009!!

Well, we celebrated a wonderful weekend with Carey and Amber Scott!! That sounds funny but Amber Dee is now Amber Dee Ezell Scott! Her wedding was marvelous and it was a great weekend. Max was and usher and did such a good job (even if he didn't want to wear the monkey suit!!) Sam was so good; he slept through dinner and woke up just in time to get out on the dance floor. We'll have to see if we have any video clips of that!! It was so good to see all of the family that could make it!! Love to everyone and we'll catch up more later!!

It was a great Thanksgiving at Aunt Becky's and we have so much to be thankful for. Sam is home and we are now a family of 4! That is just amazing. We have celebrated his first birthday, his first Thanksgiving and soon to be his first Christmas! There is an old hymn that says, "It is no secret, what God can do..." I want everyone to know that it was a miracle from God that brought Sam to us and that God will carry us the rest of the way through the journey!! We pray you had a blessed Thanksgiving as well and that you can enjoy this holiday season by celebrating Jesus, our Savior and Friend!! Love to all!!!

Johnny Jump

I know I am a day late but...what can you do?!? Sam turned 1 yesterday!!!! We had a very busy and didn't get to have a real party but we have pretty much been partying since he came home! I baked some brownie cupcakes and Sam and I went to SCA to have lunch with big brother Max and his class. Everyone sang happy birthday to Sam. Of course, I forgot the camera, but we got some photos later! Sam loves the Happy Birthday song and the cupcake wasn't too bad either!
Max also had a big day. He had his first ever Little League Football Banquet! Even though it was at a super crowded Pizza Inn, the boys were in heaven!! Dave missed out on all the days festivities due to work but it turned out to be a good day. I am going to try and post some of the video we got of Sam and hope it works!! Love to all and I'll update more real soon!

Well, this is not how Sam looked at 1:00 AM!! He was having a fit! But after a bottle and some rocking, he settled back down and slept until 8:00. He has also been asleep since 10:00Am for the morning nap. Things are looking up!
We are trying to make Thanksgiving and Christmas plans. Sam's birthday is also next Thursday so we are trying to fit that in somewhere between Upward evaluations and Max's football banquet (I don't know if you call Pizza Inn a banquet really.....)! Anyway, it has been a wild ride but we are still hanging on! Love to all of you and say a prayer for us today!!!
